It seems that a new Android smartphone is on its way to Sprint. Details found in the leaked specs list and photos point to a higher mid-range device known as the ZTE Vital. Or we should rather say the Sprint Vital, since the carrier will launch the phone under its own brand. The Vital will be a result of a close cooperation between Sprint and ZTE and if everything goes as expected, it will be the highest-end product to ever come out of this partnership.
ZTE Vital Android Smartphone for Sprint
The Vital is believed to sport a 5-inch HD touch screen display of unconfirmed resolution. We certainly hope for 1080p, but since “Full” is nowhere to be found, 720p feels more probable. Powering the device is a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor accompanied by 1 GB of RAM.
The phone offers 8 GB of internal memory and is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera. Of course, the Vital will be 4G LTE capable. Other highlights include microSD slot for storage expansion, NFC, a hefty 2500 mAh battery and what appears to be near stock Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The phone looks familiar? It should, since its specs sound almost identical to the ZTE Grand S LTE presented at Consumer Electronics Show in January this year. At the moment there is no word on either availability or pricing but we expect the handset to wear a reasonable price tag. We will let you know as soon as we have more information.
