While focusing mostly on mid-range and affordable devices, the ZTE doesn’t forget about its premium lineup. Every sign in the sky suggests that the top-end ZTE’s Nubia family will soon gain another member. The Chinese company has already confirmed launch of the Nubia Z9 on March 26th and right now the smartphone has been spotted in the AnTuTu database confirming some of the discussed earlier tech parameters.
ZTE Nubia Z9 – What to expect
Believed to be nothing else but the ZTE Nubia Z9 a device codenamed NX510J has just passed the AnTuTu benchmark tests. Thanks to AnTuTu database leak all the information regarding the phone’s specs gained more reliable character. They’re no rumors anymore.
Speculated to come closed in a glass body, the Nubia Z9 is said to house a 5.2-inch screen featuring Full HD resolution of 1920x1080p, which translates to 424 ppi of pixel density. Perhaps, the 5.2-inch display may seem to be a bit too small when compared to the Nubia Z7’s 5.5-inch screen, however, knowing that the company plans to release three devices within the Z9’s line, the discussed today phone may simply end up as a compact version of the flagship. The screen resolution parameters also raise many question, since the 1080p resolution seems to be a technological step back when we take into account the fact that the Z7 debuted with the Quad HD screen on the board.
Furthermore, the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip that is the octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810, additionally coupled with 3GB RAM.
On the optics side, the Z9’s future users will be offered with a 16MP rear-facing camera that is likely to sport optical image stabilization. What’s more, the main camera will be supported by the definitely selfie-friendly 8MP front-facing shooter. When it comes to software, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop seems to be the most probable option.
Though AnTuTu revealed most of the Z9’s specs, we still know very little about the phone’s design language, except the fact that it is rumored to sport a glass body case. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait long to watch the Z9 in its whole beauty. If everything goes according to the ZTE’s launching plans, the device will debut in two weeks’ time.
