ZTE Nubia Z5 phablet officially announced in China, scheduled to arrive in January 2013

ZTE Nubia Z5 phabletZTE has finally announced its new Android smartphone – Nubia Z5. Coming as one of the manufacturer’s first handset to sport a 5 inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, the ZTE Nubia Z5 is certainly something to look forward to if you’re in the market for high-end phablets. The handset weighs only 4.44 ounces, and is really thin, measuring only 0.3 inches. It runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and, apart from the true HD screen, it features: quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro with 2GB of RAM on board, 13 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB internal memory, 4G HSPA+, and 2,300 mAh battery. The ZTE Nubia Z5 will be available in China beginning January 2013 for 3,456 yuan without contract which is equivalent of $555.
