Long gone are the times when smartphone manufacturers could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Now almost every company that produces electronics has at least a few models of more or less advanced phones. Top three leading phone makers include Apple, Samsung and Nokia but there are many more companies having mobile phones on offer. Some of them are of worldwide recognition, while others are focused on local markets.
ZTE’s next Nubia Flagship Smartphone
ZTE is still not very popular in the US or Europe, but in Asia the company is steadily gaining faithful customers with each new product. When it comes to smartphones, ZTE entered the high-end sector late last year with its 5-inch Nubia Z5.
The company made it clear, that Nubia will be its premium brand and will include more devices in the future. Shortly after the Z5 was launched, a rumor appeared suggesting that the next device in the lineup will be called Z7 and will feature 6.3-inch display.
While this particular detail has not been verified, it turns out that indeed there is another Nubia phone in the works. The news was confirmed by Nubia’s general manager, Ni Fei, who revealed that new Nubia handset will be released on late November or early December.
Ni Fei only mentioned a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip and improved camera and did not elaborate on other technical details. We can only guess that the device will include truly top-notch hardware. With that said, Xiaomi, Oppo and Meizu should prepare themselves for a though fight with such a competitor as Nubia.
