Virgin Mobile $25 PlanIf you are looking for a low cost smartphone plan, make sure to check Virgin Mobile’s new offer today. The carrier has just launched a new $25 plan that includes unlimited talk and text service and can be paired with select Android smartphones. As always, there are a few requirements that potential customers need to meet in order to be able to take advantage of the plan, so here’s what you should know before you hop on Virgin Mobile’s unlimited talk & text plan.

Virgin Mobile $25 Unlimited Talk Text Plan

Virgin Mobile OfferThe new unlimited talk & text plan costs $25 per month and includes domestic voice minutes and domestic messaging. Did you notice that no data is mentioned? Well, that’s because no data is included in the plan. That said, the only way to access the Internet would be through Wi-Fi.

The plan is available with select smartphones, that is the LG Volt, LG Optimus F3, Kyocera Hydro Vibe, Virgin Mobile Awe, Kyocera Rise, Reef, Samsung Galaxy Ring and Kyocera Event. Virgin Mobile assures that all these phones have Wi-Fi and can access data through hotspots so you shouldn’t have any problems with downloading apps or checking your email on the go.

The $25 Unlimited Talk & Text Promotional Offer is available only to new customers which means that current subscribers won’t be able to switch to the new plan. Once you activate the promotional offer you will have option to switch to one of the existing standard carrier’s plans at any time, but keep in mind that you won’t be able to go back to the cheap $25 plan.

The same goes for smartphones. If you want to switch to one of the promotional devices, you can do so without any consequences, but if you choose a handset that is not included in the offer, you will need to choose a different plan too. The $25 Unlimited Talk & Text Plan is a limited time offer and expires on September 2nd.

Virgin Mobile’s new plan certainly isn’t for everyone. It’s definitely one of the cheapest, but the lack of data may disqualify it for heavy data users. However, if you happen to use your phone mostly for calls and texts and need data only occasionally, the $25 Unlimited Talk & Text Plan appears to be an interesting alternative to more costly plans.
