Thor E is cheap-and-cheerful Android phone with 3 day battery life

Except for the big names like Samsung, Apple or LG, the mobile industry is full of brands you may never heard of but they’re surely worth your attention. These little known companies often offer smartphones having flagship specs at affordable prices. A good example of such a handset is the Vernee Thor E.  Sporting an attractive design the phone packs a combination of decent specs, the best of which is its generous battery with 3-day endurance.

Vernee Thor E combines a gigantic battery delivering 3 days of usage

Vernee Thor E combines a gigantic battery delivering 3 days of usage, eye-catching design, Android Nougat and surprisingly low price.

To start with, the Vernee Thor E is kept alive by energy generated by a ginormous 5,020 mAh battery additionally supporting fast  charging mode. The company promises that the cell is capable to deliver a month of a standby mode, 36 hours of continuous talk time or 18 hours of video playback, all this translates to something round 3 days of a normal usage on a single charging.

Furthermore, dedicated E-ink key allows to switch the device into a monochromatic power-saving mode, on which you can use the phone for emergency purposes all day long having just 20% of power. Meanwhile, the already mentioned fast charging circuit enables the device’s users to reach 99% of battery power after just 30 minutes of charging. Quite impressive, don’t you think? Especially if we take into account the fact that this really massive battery didn’t affected the Thor E design, as it still manages to keep 8.2 mm thick profile.

Speaking of the external design, the Vernee Thor E comes dressed in a beautifully-crafted body case with brushed metal finish hiding a 5-inch HD display. Specs-wise, the phone is a decent mid-ranger. It is driven by an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 3GB RAM which should deliver smooth Android 7.0 Nougat experience. As for optics, they come represented by a pretty common 13MP primary snapper and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. Another interesting feature the phone has been equipped with is a fingerprint scanner for better personal data protection.

Normally, the Vernee Thor E costs $130. However, right now to celebrate its debut Vernee is selling the handset at a promo price of $109 if you pre-order it fast enough.
