Samsung Galaxy S4 for Verizon
The 32GB Galaxy S4 will start shipping on July 3. If you have more money to spare, Big Red is also selling the Galaxy S4 Developer Edition. Unfortunately it is not the Google Edition running stock Android that we expected to be. However, the phone comes with unlocked bootloader, which means that you will be able to hale some fun with custom ROMs, etc.
Back to the regular Samsung Galaxy S4, double storage aside, it is identical to the 16 GB model. Key features include a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1.9 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. The handset’s powerful battery allows for up to 17 hours usage time and up to 12 days standby time. The Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWix UI and is Global Ready.
The phone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and zero shutter lag, as well as a user-facing shooter. The camera offers such options as Dual Shot, which allows you to use both cameras at once, and Eraser Shot, thanks to which you will be able to erase unwanted elements from the photo. The Galaxy S4 also features Samsung’s new features, including AirView, Air Gesture, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll and more.
