Few days earlier, we got info that Motorola’s launching plans embrace unveiling 8 new devices within this summer. But, now it appears that the manufacturer in cooperation with the US carrier Verizon want to add another completely new handset, the Motorola Luge aka Moto Ludge, to their list of offering. The smartphone that we didn’t heard of before will allegedly hit the market on August 28th.
Motorola Luge aka Moto Luge coming to Verizon
The fact that the Moto Luge is reportedly said to be the phone designed exclusively for Verizon can explain why we didn’t know about the forthcoming device earlier. If to believe the today’s rumor, the smartphone will be the Verizon pre-paid offer device.
The leaked incomplete screenshot of the BestBuy online offer of the Moto Luge is today’s mobile world topic no. 1, raising the flood of speculations. Unfortunately, the material doesn’t tell us much about the handset, instead we just get a hint on what to except from the phone. The specs listing includes: 4G LTE connectivity (perhaps the phone is to be created especially for the Verizon’s recently switched-on prepaid LTE network offer?), a large vivid display of still unknown tech parameters. It also says that the phone will run Android 4.4.4, which is referred to as Jelly Bean. Giving such completely irrelevant information cause confusion, don’t you think? In addition, the leak also mentions something about “Moto Aware”, which again is a complete mystery for us. The only thing that we may consider a hard fact is the phone’s off-contact price tag of $199. It is worth mentioning that the price includes costs of shipping.
Thought it is quite common for the very first list of specs to be half-baked, the weird and confusing thing in the Moto Luge’s case is that the smartphone is allegedly planned to debut on August 28th. Is it possible for the company to launch the product of which we know almost nothing within just three days?
Judging by the presented above partial information, we may pretty safely assume that the Moto Luge is going to be a device that will be only a slight improvement in comparison to the Moto G. But the good news is that we don’t have wait long to learn whether the leaks are legit.
