July is going to be an important month for Verizon Wireless. In addition to expanding 4G LTE service to its ALLSET prepaid plan, the carrier is also planning to add a few hot devices to its stores such as Xperia Z2 Tablet, LG G3, and LG G Watch. But wait, there’s more. Big Red will also have a chance to score new subscribers thanks to its new promotion which offers 50% discounts on flagship smartphones on contract.
50% Discounts on Verizon Flagship Smartphones
The deal becomes effective today and will run through July 27th. That’s a whole 17 days to go over Verizon’s portfolio and decide which of the phones would be ideal fit for you, though if you are interested it’s probably best not to wait until the last moment. There are a bunch of handsets available with the deal including such stars as the Samsung Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8, the Galaxy Note 3, the iPhone 5s and the much anticipated LG G3. There’s one downside to the promotion, though (or not, depending on how you feel about contracts). You will be able to take advantage of the deal only if you are willing to stick around for two years.
To give you a better feel of what kind of savings you can expect, lets take a look at the prices. After the discount, the Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8 and the LG G3 cost $99.99, while the Galaxy Note 3 is priced at $149.99. If you are into older devices, Verizon also has a selection of last year’s models, also selling for 50% off. For example you can become an owner of the HTC One (M7), the Galaxy S4 or the Moto X. The first two will set you back $49.99, while the last one can be had for just $24.99.
If you were planning on getting a new phone but the prices were a tad too high for your budget, Verizon is giving you a chance to grab a premium handset for half of what you would normally have to pay. Yes, there’s the obligation of a two-year contract, but an opportunity like this is not something you can easily walk away from. If you are still having second thoughts remember this – a brand new LG G3 for under $100 doesn’t come around every day.
