Verizon Nokia Lumia 2520 4G LTE tablet is now available in stores and online for $399 on contract

Verizon Lumia 2520As expected, the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet went on sale on Verizon today. The slate is available in stores and online, however, if you want the red model, the only option is to purchase it online. On the other hand, retail stores are selling only the black variant. The tablet is priced at $399.99 with a two-year agreement or $499.99 off contract. According to previous reports, the on-contract option is a limited-time offer and when it expires the device will be available only for full retail price. The Lumia 2520 can also be added to Share Everything plans for just $10 per month.

Nokia Lumia 2520The Nokia Lumia 2520 for Verizon Wireless is the Finnish company’s first tablet, which judging by the specs it may be big hit. The Windows RT 8.1 tablet’s IPS LCD Full-HD screen is 10.1 inches in size and is optimized for enhanced outdoor readability. The slate runs on Verizon 4G LTE network and features NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and Wi-Fi with hotspot capability.

The Lumia 2520 definitely won’t disappoint you with its performance thanks to a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The tablet offers 32 GB of internal memory which you can double via microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards. In addition the slate comes with 7 GB free Skydrive storage.

As it is typical for Nokia’s latest devices, the tablet is equipped with a powerful main camera which uses Zeiss Optics and shoot pictures at 6.7 megapixels. The secondary camera sports a 2-megapixel sensor, which is sufficient for video chats.
