How time flies. It seems like yesterday that we were celebrating the first day of 2013 and now the year is almost over. Regardless of whether it was good for you or not so much, you will sure have fond memories of the last two days, especially if you are in the market for a new smartphone or tablet and have nothing against becoming Verizon’s subscriber for the next two years. The carrier is currently having End of Year Savings promotion which can land you an awesome phone or Samsung tablet at great prices.
Verizon’s End of Year Savings Promotion
So, what is on the menu? For starters, Verizon is serving the Moto X for $49.99, that is $50 down from its regular price of $99.99. There is a similar deal on the HTC One. The phone, which previously was priced at $99.99, now is on sale for $49.99.
If you prefer something from the DROID family, you have three devices to choose from: the DROID MAXX, DROID Ultra and DROID Mini priced $149,99, $49.99 and $0.00, respectively. Each DROID phone comes with $50 in savings.
There are also three Samsung tablets available at discounted prices, that is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Note 10.1. Each of the slates is $200 off their regular prices, so the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 goes for $99.99, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is priced at $249.99 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 costs $399.99.
As it is to be expected, each smartphone as well as tablet requires signing up a new 2-year contract with the carrier. The deal runs through December 31st.
