Verizon launches Ellipsis 7 4G LTE tablet on November 7 for $149.99 on contract

Earlier today, the carrier announced the tablet and revealed the release date and pricing. If you are interested in the slate, you will be able to grab one starting on November 7th for $249.99. You will be able to get the tablet cheaper if you sign a new contract. For two years of your loyalty, the carrier will be willing to sell the Ellipsis 7 for $149.99. However, Verizon highlights that it will be a limited time promotion.

Ellipsis 7The official announcement does not provide any details that could encourage you to purchase the tablet. Verizon enumerates the slate’s advantages with no numbers to support the claims. The Verizon Ellipsis 7 features a 7-inch HD IPS display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM and runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

The tablet offers 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for storage expansion compatible with up to 32 GB cards. The slate sports dual front-facing speakers and dual cameras. The main camera snaps at 3.2 megapixels and there is also a VGA user-facing camera for video chatting. The Ellipsis 7 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in nearly stock flavor.
