Being on the market for five months now, the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD began getting cheaper. It is a result that the devices are no longer considered as the newest smartphones. Last week we told you about a great deal on Amazon, where the retailer was offering the Motorola DROID RAZR HD for just $0.01 to new customers. Now it is Verizon’s turn to cut the price and it seems that the carrier keep up market trends. Currently the Big Red dropped prices Droid RAZR HD MAXX and Droid RAZR HD by $100.
New lower prices on Droid RAZR smartphones
The Motorola DROID RAZR HD is currently on sale at Verizon official store for just $99.99. If you choose the Motorola RAZR HD MAXX model, you will have to pay $199.99. Naturally, both handsets require you to sign a new two-year service agreement. Additionally, the carrier will ship phones for free.
The Motorola DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD are very similar in terms of design and specs. The only difference between them is that the MAXX version comes with 32 GB of memory and a monster 3300 mAh battery, while the other model has 16 GB of storage and a 2530 mAh battery. Other than that, both handset feature 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter.
Both smartphones are powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and support for up to 32 GB of additional storage. The MAXX model as well as the regular HD runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradeable to 4.1 Jelly Bean and offer such features as SMARTACTIONS app for extending battery life and automating everyday tasks, access to Google Mobile Services and much more.
