Remember when back in June we reported on LG’s X line that was expanded by four more smartphones: the X Mach, X Max, X Style and X Power? Right now one of the phones arrived to US Cellular. Starting yesterday the LG X Power is available on the carrier’s website for zero upfront on contract or for $149 without any long term commitments. What’s more the said phone debuts accompanied by the LG G Pad X II – a big 10-inch Android-based 4G LTE tablet.
US Cellular introduces the LG X Power and LG G Pad X II. Both devices run Android Marshmallow and may be yours for zero upfront if you enroll for one of the carrier’s installment plans.
LG X Power
US Cellular has just added two new Android devices to its list of offerings. Having its international premiere several months ago, the LG X Power is an affordable phone targeting at those who want a long-lasting device that won’t ruin their budget. As the name suggest the X Power’s biggest selling point is its quite generous 4,100 mAh battery promised to keep the handset alive for nearly 2 days of quite extensive usage.
In addition, the non-removable cell has been equipped with a Quick Charge 2.0 support for fast charging. Other than that the X Power is quite a decent phone housing a 5.3-inch screen with 720p of resolution and a combination of 8MP and 5MP rear and front cameras. Powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable up to 2TB internal storage the phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The mid-ranger is also a good-looker as it comes closed in a slim, only 7.9 mm thick, body case.
Those interested in the device may buy it straight from US Cellular paying nothing upfront on a 30-month installment plan, within which they will be asked to pay only $7 each month. Furthermore, the X Power is also available with 24- and 20-month installment plans. Those who enroll for one of these options will be charged $8.75 or $10.50 respectively. In case you don’t like the installment plan idea, then you may buy the device on US Cellular prepaid service for $149.99.
LG G Pad X II
If a tablet is more your thing, then the G Pad X II may be yours also for zero upfront and $10 each of the 30 months of the installment plan, or for $12.50 if you sign up for a 24-month plan. Plus, you may also opt for a third option and buy the tablet on a two-year contract with US Cellular for $149.99.
For that money you will get a massive 10.1-inch tablet driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable built-in storage that works on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of box. Moreover, powered by a large 6,000 mAh battery the G Pad X II hides two 5MP snappers and an integrated stand which makes watching movies even more convenient.
Both offers are available for US Cellular’s existing and new customers.
