Three days after a special event during which the iPhone 5C was announced, pre-order pages go live at Apple’s store as well as at AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile. The handset will start shipping on September 20th but you can secure your unit today to make sure you will be among the first customers to get their hands on the device. Pricing is similar on all carriers, with some subtle differences only if you go for installment plan.
Deals and Pricing on Apple iPhone 5C
The iPhone 5C for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint is available for $99.99 for the 16 GB model and $199.99 for the 32 GB version. Each carrier requires a new two-year contract. Regular unsubsidized price of the device is set at $549.99 and $649.99 for 16 GB and 32 GB models, respectively. AT&T is also offering the iPhone 5C with its Next service. The cost of the phone is spread over the period of 20 months with monthly installments of $22 for the 16 GB variant and $27 for the 32 GB version.
Verizon Edge installment plan is not very different with $23.06 and $27.15 per month, for the 16 GB and 32 GB models, respectively. T-Mobile is selling the phone for $0 upfront plus 24 monthly installments of $22 each if you buy the 16 GB variant. Double the storage costs $99 upfront plus $22.91 over 2 years. Sprint is offering a special promotion for those customers who bring your number. The discount reduces the price by $100 which means that you can actually get the 16 GB model for free and the 32 GB model will cost $99.99.
Walmart went a step further and will offer both the iPhone 5C and 5S at a lower price right from day one. The iPhone 5C will sell for $20 off the official price, that is for $79. The higher-end iPhone 5S will be priced at $189, with $10 in savings.
