Unlocked Nokia 6, Moto E and Alcatel Idol 5S are now on sale in the US with extra discount if you don’t mind ads on your lock screen
Amazon’s Prime Exclusive program is well known among the members for delivering freshly announced phones to the market at lower prices, but it happens rarely that we see phones debuting through the program. That state of things changes today as Amazon has just released the Alcatel Idol 5S. At this point the unannounced smartphone is available to Amazon customers. Along with the Idol 5S, the retailer launched two more phones: Nokia 6 and Moto E4. All three smartphones are sold unlocked and with significant discount, providing that you don’t mind ads on you lock screen.

Earlier today Amazon has expanded the portfolio of its Prime Exclusive program by three more smartphones – the Nokia 6, Moto E and Alcatel Idol 5S. Each phone is sold unlocked and is subject to noticeable discount. But lower price tag comes at the price of personalized offers and ads displaying on the phone’s screen. The service isn’t particularly intrusive, which makes the deals even more tempting.
Alcatel Idol 5S
To start from the Alcatel Idol 5S, the phone represents another generation of the Alcatel’s well-known flagship though affordable line. Just like its predecessor the phone features aluminum frame, curved glass on front and rear panels and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Housing a 5.2-inch 1080p display the Idol 5S comes powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Such processing parameters will surely deliver smooth performance of Android 7.1 Nougat the phone runs out of box. Set on the back fingerprint scanner takes care of your data safety, while front facing stereo speakers provide you with decent audio experience.
If you think that the Idol 5S may be a device right for you, you can grab it for $199 with Amazon ads, or for $279 without them.
If you need a bigger device than 5.2-inch, then take a look at the Nokia 6. The phone features an aluminum unibody shell hiding a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen panel and a 16MP primary camera. Driven by the Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, the handset works on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The phone is already available for pre-order. It can be yours for $229 or for $179 if you have nothing against ads. You can choose among silver, black and cooper color options. However, please note that the Nokia 6 provides only partial LTE support for AT&T.
Moving on to the cheapest phone of the trio, the Moto E4 can be purchased for just $99 with ads or $129 without them. For such money you will get a pretty decent smartphone offering 5-inch 720p screen panel and 2,800 mAh battery.
Other specs of Moto E include a Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. But, the biggest surprise here is the fact that you can enjoy the Android 7.1 Nougat experience for less than 100 bucks. So far Amazon is the only place where you can buy the unlocked model of the Moto E4.
All three smartphones are already available for pre-order. As for delivery, the Moto E4 is scheduled to start shipping on June 30th, while the Idol 5S and Nokia 6 will ship no sooner than on July 10th. If you are not the Amazon Prime member yet, you can become one for $10.99 per month or $99 a year.
