Unlocked Moto G4 Play goes on sale in the States GSM and CDMA ready starting as low as $99

On September 15th the Moto G Play will join Amazon’s “Prime exclusive”
Earlier today Amazon has shared the news that they’re going to add another device to its “Prime exclusive” smartphone lineup. The line consist of unlocked phones which undergo a significant discount due to the fact that they display ads of products and services offered by Amazon. The phone in question is the he 4th Generation of the Moto G Play, also known as the Moto G4 Play. Although the device is scheduled to hit the retailer in several days, pre-orders kicked off today.


Unlocked Moto G4 Play goes on sale in the US

Moto G4 Play is now available through Amazon priced under $100 which is the lowest price available on the market. The phone is sold SIM lock free compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon.

Starting from a brief presentation of the Moto G4 Play, the phone is the most affordable model in the Moto G series. However, as usual, this time also in order to sell the handset at lower cost Lenovo had to compromise and pack the device with lower-end specs.

The Moto G4 Play comes equipped with a 5-inch display sporting 720p of resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. However, all those considering the storage space insufficient may easily add to it some more gigabytes through microSD expansion. In addition, the phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of box and is fed by energy generated by a 2,800 mAh battery.

In the field of optics, the Moto G4 Play provides its users with a decent combination of an 8MP rear shooter and a selfie-friendly 5MP front snapper. Other than that, the phone features Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth and micro USB.

Sold unlocked by Amazon the Moto G4 Play is promised to work with all major GSM and CDMA networks including: AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon. Naturally, if you don’t like the idea of ads displayed on your phone’s lock screen, you may opt for a standard model of the phone, but then you need to pay $50 more.

As for the logistics, the 4th Gen Moto G Play will be shipped on September 15th. However, if you already made your decision and want to get the phone for yourself, you can order it right now either from Amazon and B&H or straight from Motorola’s official website for just $149.99.
