Last year’s Lenovo Yoga tablets were in a way novelty on the market thanks to their built-in kickstands. Hardware, however, was far from being impressive and even though pricing was affordable, the Yoga tablets were left behind competition. Apparently, Lenovo got the message and its next-generation slate, Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, is much better equipped. The tablet was announced today at MWC in Barcelona and will arrive in stores in April starting at $349. The device will be available in two versions, with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, though only the former will make it to the US.
There is not that much that you can do to a tablet to make it stand out from the crowd, except for various combinations of components, obviously. As far as design is concerned, it is just a slate that you can lay down flat on the table or hold in your hands. Lenovo thought that there was something to be done and played with the idea a bit. The result is the Lenovo Yoga Tablet. The device is available in two sizes: with 8-inch and 10-inch display, selling for $249 and $299, respectively.
