Vizio is planning to take the gadget market in 2013 with a big swing. Having announced this week two interestingly looking smartphones, the company is now showing off its first Windows 8 tablet. Well, there is no big surprise here, since it was only a matter of time before Vizio diversified its product line. And it actually might be a great hit.
So far, Vizio had no great success at manufacturing cell phones, but now the company is back and it has two interesting devices to offer. The company unveiled at the first day of CES two smartphones, which are pretty intriguing in terms of specs as well as design. The first one is a high-end 5-inch phablet with full HD 1080p display, and the second one is a 4.7-inch smartphone with HD 720p screen and Dual-SIM slots.
NVIDIA unveiled yesterday its next-generation mobile processor – Tegra 4, ahead of the CES 2013 rush. Company announced that its new chip delivers four times faster processing performance of its predecessor Tegra 3 and will be among the fastest processors available on the market. Inside the Tegra 4 is a quad-core CPU with an extra “low-power core” that cuts power consumption to help extend battery life. The first tablet with the new processor will be Vizio, which is exposed at CES dubbed as Vizio Tegra 4.
