HTC myTouch 4G | Cheap PhonesThe HTC myTouch 4G, unlocked for any GSM carrier, features a 3.8-inch LCD capacitive touch screen with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, support for 65,536 colors and the option of five or seven home screen panels, and a 5 MP rear camera / camcorder with auto focus, LED flash, face detection and 720p HD video capture which also allows you to chat face-to-face across the country from phone to phone, PC, Mac or tablet. The touch screen is responsive and the photos snapped with the camera are of satisfying quality.

The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor and packs 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, with 1.2 available to user. The HTC myTouch 4G, as the name suggests, is compatible with 4G networks so the internet connection is relatively fast. The 1400 mAh batter offers up to 6 hours talk time and up to 12 days standby time. An interesting feature is the Genius Button, which will allow you to send messages, reply to messages, search the web, or find things nearby with a simple voice command and a touch of the button.

The virtual keyboard features predictive text entry and SWYPE technology, which allows you to write a message in an instant by just sliding your finger over the keyboard. By tracking the movement of your finger, SWYPE guesses what you are trying to write and suggests the most probable word, thus making texting much easier and faster.

Both devices are virtually the same, with the only difference being the Q’s slide-out QWERTY keyboard making the phone slightly thicker. Apart from this, they are identical. The Huawei myTouch and myTouch Q for T-Mobile, both have soft but grippy rubber backs, rounded corners and barely tapered edges. The new T-Mobile myTouch sports 4-inch touch screen WVGA displays with a 450×800 pixel resolution, 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage expandable with memory microSD cards up to 16GB.
