While Surface Pro users didn’t have to wait for a new model quite as long as Lumia fans, many felt that a new tablet is way overdue. Luckily, the wait is finally over. During an event in New York City, Microsoft unleashed the Surface Pro 4 equipped with a bigger screen, smaller bezels, new stylus and thinner keyboard. Unlike the Lumias, the company didn’t skip a generation and the Surface Pro 4 directly follows the Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft’s big hardware party scheduled for October 6th, get ready for new Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL and Surface Pro 4
When Microsoft launched the Windows 10 in early August, the company didn’t say much about the newest upcoming platform dedicated mobile devices. However, we didn’t have to wait to long for an update. Today, the Redmont company began sending invitations to a big hardware party at Skylight at Moynihan in New York scheduled on October 6th. Rumor has it that during the event Microsoft will introduce the new Surface Pro 4 laptop-tablet, and flagship smartphone Lumia 950 along with a bigger sibling, the Lumia 950XL.
Most smartphone and tablet makers keep annual upgrade schedule and Microsoft in this case is no different. The Surface Pro 3 was announced a year ago almost to the day so it’s the right time to expect a successor. It looks like one may be actually on the way. According to the latest rumors, Microsoft may announce the Surface Pro 4 this month.
