What a better way to celebrate new partnership than to release a new smartphone? Probably there isn’t one and that’s what Sprint, Sharp and Japanese company Softbank thought when they set to work on the Sharp Aquos Crystal smartphone. The device was announced back in August and now is starting to make its way to stores. Prepaid Sprint and Boost Mobile have just begun selling the phone for $149.99 without contract.
Now you can pre-book „the big, bold and brilliant” Galaxy Note 4 from Sprint to make sure you will be among the first adopters
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 goes on sale in the US on October 14th, but it’s already available to pre-book on three major US carriers, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. And just right now, Sprint is joining the pre-order club, giving its customers three options of purchase. But remember that though the Sprint Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders kicked off last Friday, the device is scheduled to start shipping on October 17th.
Buying a new phone is not always as easy as it seems, especially if you have your eyes on one of the most anticipated devices of the year. When demand is higher than supply, stock can dry up in a matter of days which usually means another few weeks of waiting. While there is no indication that something like this may happen to the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a little precaution in the form of pre-order certainly won’t hurt. Great news is that you can secure a unit for yourself today as AT&T and Verizon, are now accepting pre-orders for the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone-tablet hybrid. T-Mobile will do it on September 24, and Sprint on September 26
LG G3 Vigor coming to Sprint this Friday and AT&T later this year as a cheaper alternative to top-end LG G3
Remember a certain LG G3 Vigor that we mentioned last month? Believed to be US-bound version of the LG G3 S / Beat, the phone was supposed to be released by Sprint in August, according to a leaked document. It appears, however, that the predicted launch date was a bit off, because we’re now well into September and the G Vigor is still unavailable. Don’t lose hope, though. The phone is coming to Sprint this Friday and AT&T later this year as a cheaper alternative to top-end LG G3.
When yesterday we reported about the announcement of the Sharp Aquos Crystal and Sprint’s upcoming “Take the edge off” event in New York, we had a feeling that the two were somehow connected. And we weren’t mistaken. Earlier today during the said event Sprint confirmed that it will be adding Sharp’s new offering to its portfolio. The phone also will be coming to Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile later this year.
Sprint may launch tomorrow the extreme Sharp Aquos Crystal phone sporting compact design with almost no bezels
Today is the day of great news in the mobile business. Firstly, we learnt about the upcoming Sprint event in New York that is scheduled for tomorrow. The event invitation says “take the edge off” and is illustrated with shimmering crystals, which in turn lead us to the second great revelation of this week, which is announcement of launching outstandingly beautiful smartphones: the Sharp Aquos Crystal and Sharp Aquos Crystal X. The first one is said to be added to the U.S carrier Sprint list of offerings. The Japanese carrier SoftBank (the one who practically owns Sprint) published a teaser video presenting the Sharp Aquos Crystal as a first smartphone with almost no bezels.
Aluminum unibody construction of the HTC One M8 was one of the phone’s main selling points and as such it significantly contributed to its premium price putting the device out of reach for some customers. That’s why HTC made a more affordable plastic version of its flagship phone which arrived at the market in June this year as the HTC One E8. Since then the less expensive handset has been available in Asia and parts of Europe and it looks like it’s ready to cross the ocean and will be coming soon to Sprint’s Spark network.
That’s something we didn’t expect. The LG G3 was scheduled to go on sale on July 18th on Sprint network but guess what? The carrier is already offering the device through its stores. And we are not talking about pre-orders here. You can actually purchase the phone a week before its official release. Not only that, but Sprint is also throwing in a nice bonus in the form of a $150 American Express gift card for users who go for Sprint Easy Pay option.
Staying fit is not always an easy task. Sprint knows that and is willing to give you all the support you need including a new fitness-themed version of the Galaxy S5. Yes, another variant of Samsung’s flagship smartphone is on its way. Called the Galaxy S5 Sport, the phone was just announced by Sprint and is the carrier’s launch device for its new Fit Live health tracking initiative.
Until recently, if you wanted an durable phone you had to make do with a rugged device which in addition to having less than attractive design, offered only basic functions. Smartphones with their fragile glass-covered bodies and countless ports and slots were delicate. Now things have changed and more and more smartphone makers are adding extra protection to their products. One of such companies is Kyocera which specializes in heavy-duty phones. Its latest addition to the Hydro lineup, the Kyocera Hydro Vibe for Sprint is now for sale in carrier’s store.
Smartphone makers usually do what they can to keep their unannounced products under wraps for as long as possible, but true enthusiasts always find a way to get to the most juicy details. In this case of the upcoming LG G3 the task was easy thanks to a document that leaked out on Sprint’s website. Specs revealed in the file give us a pretty good idea of what to expect and confirm that the phone will be a real monster phone – meant as a compliment, of course.
If you feel that you are not ready for a smartphone just yet, there is no need to force yourself to buy one just because all your friends have iPhones or Android phones. There are plenty of feature phones out there that are functional, stylish and most importantly affordable. Lets take for example the new Kyocera Verve messaging phone featuring QWERTY keyboard which soon will be coming to Sprint and two of its prepaid subsidiaries – Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
The all new HTC One M8 may have been one month behind its biggest rival the Samsung Galaxy S5, but to compensate the longer wait, HTC surprised us with immediate phone availability. It usually takes a few weeks, in extreme cases even months, for a high-end smartphone to hit the stores. For example, the Galaxy S5, which was announced back in February 24th, can be pre-ordered since last Friday and won’t start shipping until April 11th. The HTC One M8, however, is available today – just few hours later it was announced. Three of the biggest US carriers, that is AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless are now selling the phone.
AT&T was the first US carrier to open pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5, but of course it won’t be the only service provider offering Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone. In fact, other carriers are not far behind. Sprint and US Cellular also have announced that the phone is up for pre-orders now. If you would rather go for contract free service, then T-Mobile has good news for you too. The Magenta network will start accepting pre-orders this Monday, March 24th.
LG announced the third iteration of L series Android smartphones last week, a few days before MWC started, however, the company didn’t come to Barcelona empty-handed. Two phones of the next-generation F series were made official during the show. New additions to the portfolio include the LG F70 and LG F90 and they seem to be successors to the last year’s Optimus F lineup. Also report claims that the LG F90 will be coming to Sprint network under the name LG Volt.
In case you missed the news, the curved LG G Flex will be available on three out of four US major carriers: Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. While the latter two are yet to provide any details on the launch, Sprint already revealed the release date, pricing and even began accepting pre-orders. The LG G Flex for Sprint costs $299.99 with a new two-year contract and will start shipping on January 31st. In stores the phone will show up a week later, on February 7th. If you pre-order the handset before January 31st, Sprint will throw in a free Quickwindow Folio Case.
Having experienced some challenges resulting from the shutdown of Nextel network and a loss of a significant number of customers in the wake of T-Mobile’s aggressive marketing campaign, Sprint is back on its feet and calling for your attention. The carrier has announced its new ultra-fast LTE service called Sprint Spark. Taking advantage of 800 MHz, 1.9 GHz and 2.5 GHz bands, the Spark allows for continuous coverage at a peak speed of 50 to 60 Mbps. Sprint will bump the speed up to a mind-blowing 1 Gbps.
You may have already heard that the Nexus 5 could be on its way to Sprint. The news accompanied by a photo of the phone came from @evleaks making it sound pretty legit. However, it was still nothing more than a rumor. Now we have a semi-official confirmation that the Now Network will indeed offer Google’s latest phone.
The Galaxy S4 family of smartphones includes several devices with the Samsung Galaxy S4 serving as a model phone. The smallest member of the gang, is the Galaxy S4 Mini. Unveiled back in May, the handset will finally hit the US shore next month and will land on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and US Cellular. Each carrier will announce pricing and availability details separately but we can assume that the phone will be way cheaper than the original Galaxy S4.
