The 8 GB model is now priced as a mere $139.99, while the 16 GB version is selling for $169.99. Regular prices of both tablets were set at $169.99 and $199.99 respectively. The devices are available for purchase on HP website as well as at Best Buy. The latest discount has just probably made the Slate 7 the most budget-friendly tablet on the market.

HP Slate 7It has been a long wait for HP’s first Android-powered tablet, but our patience paid off and the HP Slate 7 finally hit the stores. Despite previous claims about possible launch delays, the table can be now purchased from HP’s own online store, in the US at least. It appears that there are some availability issues in Europe, so it is possible that the device will arrive on that market around June. There are no surprises in terms of pricing. The HP Slate 7 costs $169.99 as it was previously announced.

HP announces Slate 7 Android Tablet with Beats Audio, Jelly Bean and low price

HP TabletsAmerican computing giant Hewlett Packard announced this weekend at Mobile Word Congress 2013 its new tablet, the HP Slate 7, the first company’s device that will run on Android operating system. The tablet will be a mid-range device and will come with a very attractive and competitive price tag of just $169.99. The device will be available in April in two different iterations – grey and red.
