Have seen a flip phone with numeric keyboard launched recently? Well, we neither. If you look really hard, you can probably find one or two stuck somewhere at the back of a store, but the truth is that touch screen smartphones and messaging phones with full physical keyboard are reigning in the mobile world. Or do they? Apparently, Samsung thinks that flip phones still have a future. If the latest rumors are to be believed, the Korean company is getting ready to release an Android-powered flip phone, called Galaxy Folder.
Today we have a new dose of freshly leaked info and photos of soon-to-be unveiled phones – the HTC Deluxe DLX with quad-core processor, the Samsung W2013 – dual-screen flip phone for rumored price of $3000, and Samsung Galaxy Grand with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, which is rumored to be released at the end of the month. Our guess it will be end of December. The other two models should arrive in 2013.
