Is new Nexus 4 around the corner? Google cut prices on current gen Nexus 4 by $100

ByinPhones Without Contract, Sales & Special Offers | August 28, 2013

Nexus 4 $100 CheaperThe longer a smartphone, a tablet or any other device is on the market, the cheaper it becomes. It is a natural process. Google’s Nexus 4 has been on sale for 10 months and, although the phone has already been discounted, it was about time for another price cut, especially since a new generation is just around the corner. That Google cut the price of its latest offering is by no means unusual. What is rather surprising is by how much the price was reduced.

ByinAnnouncements | May 28, 2013

Google Nexus 4 WhiteWe first heard about a white version of the Nexus 4 back in January. Since then, the phone kept popping up in photos and leaks, but both LG and Google kept quiet, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. Consequently, until today we had no solid information. But no more guessing and speculating. The device was officially announced at last. It will be available first in Hong Kong and in the weeks to come should go on sale in “select markets” in Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Google did not announce the phone officially, but guys from Android and Me got opportunity to hold white Nexus 4 in their hands. They even managed to snap a photo to share with those of us who were not lucky enough to get a glimpse of the phone. The next Nexus 4 is expected to go on sale in less than a month, on June 10. Probably its price will be similar to the current level, which starts at $299 without contract.
