Motorola expanded its smartwatch series by introducing the Moto 360 2nd Gen and the Moto 360 Sport. While the Moto 360 is a more fashionable fully customizable watch offering almost 300 different combination of size, style and color, the Moto 360 Sport is a fitness-focused wearable with a water- and dust-resistant unibody and an innovative AnyLight display.
It’s not exactly a secret that the Moto 360 smartwatch will soon have a successor, or to be more exact – successors. Upcoming IFA in Berlin would be a great opportunity to make the watches official, but it appears that Motorola is not going to show up at the trade show, at least not with the Moto 360 2. It doesn’t mean, though, that the announcement of the devices was postponed. Actually, “It’s time” for it right now. Motorola’s Chinese parent company, Lenovo, will unveil the next generation Moto 360 smartwatches on September 8th in Shanghai.

Finally the day has arrived and the Apple Watch is almost ready for sale. “Almost” is a key word here, since you can only pre-order the device today and there is no telling how long you will have to wait for it. But, just as mentioned before the Moto 360 customization platform won’t deliver as many alternatives as the one covering the very anticipated Moto X. Still, however, the Moto Maker sounds a perfect option if you want to design your very own variant of the smartwatch.

So far available exclusively for smartphones the Moto Maker customization platform will soon cover the company’s wearable devices. Next month Motorola launches a Moto Maker suited for the Moto 360 that will let users to customize the watch according to their tastes and create a very-own unique version of the watch.
Remember that Valentine’s Day is almost upon us? If you want to play it safe and aim for good old chocolates or cuddly teddy bears it’s cool, but maybe you want to try something new this year? Motorola’s highly anticipated smart timepiece, the Moto 360, finally hits the market. We’ve been discussing the device so many times, that no one expected that the manufacturer is able to surprise us with something we don’t know. But somehow Motorola managed to do it with launching the Moto 360 with two different leather straps for based price of $249.99, the premium edition with metal bands is said to be available later this fall.
Even though Motorola is in the process of being acquired by Lenovo, the company’s friendship with Google is still strong and fruitful. And good thing that it is, since the product we are about to present to you is the result of a close partnership between both companies which otherwise might not be possible.
