Nokia Lumia 720 passed FCC, coming to AT&T first and other carriers soon

ByinAnnouncements | March 6, 2013

Lumia 720 RedIntroduced to the world at WMC last week in Barcelona, the Nokia Lumia 720 has just passed through the Federal Communication Commission. This means that the handset was tested under different conditions and was approved as ready to rock without any issues. The phone will head to AT&T first and we expect other carriers to follow soon. The FCC agency revealed that the Lumia 720 will support HSPA+ and will come without LTE radio. That is a real bummer, since 4G LTE is becoming a standard for US carriers. Hopefully, Nokia will decide to launch an LTE-enabled model too.
