Yesterday T-Mobile has silently added the HTC One M8 Windows version to their list of offerings. After months of awaiting the best-looking Windows phone is at last within the T-Mobile’s customers’ reach. The carrier’s subscribers may purchase it online for $585.60, which is the full retail price without contract, or buy it from T-Mobile paying nothing upfront with a Simple Choice installment plan.
„The more the merrier” seems to be AT&T’s motto these days. Earlier this week we brought to you the news that the Ma Bell network would be adding as many as seven new devices to its portfolio this month, from smartphones to cool and creative gadgets. Three of these devices, namely the HTC Desire Eye, the HTC One M8 Windows and the Nokia Lumia 830 were launched today and are waiting for you at AT&T stores.
Today AT&T seems to have a big day when it comes to announcement with opening their lists of offering for a large number of new devices from various corners of the mobile industry world. Seven new devices will join the carrier’s offer this month from Android and Windows phones to wearable gadgets. Let’s check the details of the November’s new arrivals on AT&T network.
Smartphone makers have been releasing miniature versions of their flagship phones for quite some time and by now we are accustomed to such practice. Samsung went even further and is offering several models of the Galaxy S5 each one focusing on a different feature, just like it did last year with the Galaxy S4. What we haven’s so far is a variant of a flagship phone running a different operating system. Until today. A few hours ago HTC announced Windows Phone version of the HTC One M8 for Verizon and the phone is now available at carrier stores.
Information about HTC launching alternative version of their HTC One M8 running Windows Phone have been going round for months. Now few more details concerning the handset have come to the light. The phone will be released this August with Verizon as its carrier. So, the HTC One M8 isn’t only a serious rival in the race for “the best 2014 Android phone” title, but it also might be the dark horse of “the best 2014 Windows Phone” race as well.
Well, look what we got here. The all new HTC One M8 in two new color options has made it to Verizon Wireless. In addition to Gunmetal Gray and Glacial Silver, the carrier is now offering the HTC’s flagship in Glamour Red and Amber Gold suit. The Glamour Red exclusively launched for Verizon is currently offered only via carrier’s official online store. The Amber Gold, on the other hand, is available online and at select authorized Verizon Wireless retailers, so if you are interested in this one you may want to make a phone call ahead to make sure that is sold in your local store.
HTC is holding a special deal today and is offering its flagship HTC One M8 in shinny Amber Gold for a price of $99. This is $100 cheaper comparing to regular retail price of the phone offered by carriers. Of course to get the discount you will need to sign up a contract with one of the service providers of your choice: AT&T, Verizon or Sprint (no T-Mobile, sorry), but according to our records this is the best deal on HTC One M8 offered since its launch so it’s worth consideration. The offer expires to at midnight Central Standard Time so you have to make your mind quickly. As another incentive, HTC throws a free shipping for your purchase.

Two new devices may soon join Verizon Wireless portfolio. Well, that’s not exactly true. One of the devices is actually a new color option of a phone that the carrier is already selling. We are referring to the HTC One M8 which is tipped to be available soon dressed in classy Glamour Red case. The other device is a ruggedized smartphone going by the name Kyocera Brigadier. The Brigadier was first rumored for Verizon earlier this month, however, this time the tip also includes renders of the phone.
The HTC One M8 is officially available for purchase through all major US carriers. As expected, T-Mobile has launched the phone earlier today, joining AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. The HTC One M8 is not the only flagship phone that goes on sale today. Its biggest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S5, also hits retailers and carrier stores today, together with a collection of Samsung’s new Gear wearables – the Gear 2, Gear Neo and Gear Fit.
If there is one thing we love about third-party retailers is that they are usually much quicker in discounting recently released phones than carriers’ stores. The unquestionable leader is Amazon, but Best Buy is not far behind. Right now, both retailers are offering some pretty sweet deals on the all new HTC One M8. Shopping for the phone at Amazon online store will let you save $100 as long as you are willing to buy HTC One M8 on Sprint network. Best Buy, on the other hand, is selling the Verizon HTC One M8 with $50 discount.
The all new HTC One M8 may have been one month behind its biggest rival the Samsung Galaxy S5, but to compensate the longer wait, HTC surprised us with immediate phone availability. It usually takes a few weeks, in extreme cases even months, for a high-end smartphone to hit the stores. For example, the Galaxy S5, which was announced back in February 24th, can be pre-ordered since last Friday and won’t start shipping until April 11th. The HTC One M8, however, is available today – just few hours later it was announced. Three of the biggest US carriers, that is AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless are now selling the phone.
After months of waiting and weeks of sifting through more or less reliable rumors we can finally learn all the juicy details about one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year, the new HTC One. Not that there was much to learn after all these leaks, but still it’s a pleasure to watch a great smartphone presented with fanfares. The new HTC’s flagship phone for 2014 was announced during a special event today which took place simultaneously in New York and London. On a side note, it appears that somewhere along the way the handset lost its longish and a bit weird name. Instead of the All New HTC One we expected, it is now called simply the HTC One M8. Here is what you need to know about the handset before you go for it.
The closer a new phone is getting to its launch the more details and facts about the device we learn. Since HTC’s All New One is scheduled for announcement on March 25th, which is by the way just three weeks from today, it’s not surprising that leaks and rumors about the phone are getting more intense. Today brings the news about the phone paying a visit to the FCC whose certification is necessary for any electronic device before goes on sale. For sure Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile is going to offer the new HTC’s next flagship smartphone.
Last year the HTC One created quite a stir with its appearance. The phone proved to be a big hit and according to some reports, it’s still one of the most desired devices. It is, however, already one year old which means that it’s time for a successor to take its place. The next-generation One, aka HTC M8, will be announced on March 25th, however, we have found already a video review showing the phone in all its glory.
