LG launches LG G2 Limited Edition Colors Gold and Red to celebrate Chinese New Year

LG G2 RedWith the exception of Nokia, which is famous for its colorful phones, most manufacturers make their phones in black and white color options. On rare occasions another hue is added here and there which is always nice to see, especially in a premium smartphone like the LG G2. The phone soon will be available in two new limited edition colors – red and gold. In Korea both versions will be priced the same as black and white, that is $496 and $562 for the 16 GB and 32 GB models, respectively. Customers in Singapore will be able to grab the red or gold G2 starting January 18th for about $701 from Starhub, SingTel and M1.

Verizon LG G2T-Mobile’s customers just got a really nice surprise. The carrier has launched the LG G2 a few days ahead of the scheduled date. The phone also landed today on AT&T and Verizon Wireless. The last of the big four US carriers to release LG’s latest handset will be Sprint. For this happy day, the Now Network’s customers will have to wait until October 11th, which is still a month away so for the time being let’s focus on the carriers already selling the phone.

This is how the LG G2 will looks like, press images leak ahead of the official announcement

LG G2 press imagesPress images of the upcoming LG G2 have already leaked out just hours ahead of the smartphone’s official announcement. Thanks to the notorious tipster @evleaks, we can now see how the handset looks like on the front and the back.

Based on the leak we can notice the volume rocker that is located right under the rear camera. Beyond that the images do not bring much new about the next LG’s flagship phone.

The report quotes an unnamed LG executive who claims the LG‘s newest flagship smartphone will arrive in the US on Verizon network. Right after official release on August 7th, the phone is scheduled to hit the shelves of Korea first in the same month. To be more exact speculations point to the 20th. Shortly after its landing, North America will be next receive the device in September, if things go as scheduled. Moreover another release will happen in Europe soon after, and by October. As we can see the LG G2 phone is hoped to be available all around the globe.
