Wondering what Verizon Wireless has in store for you for Black Friday? (The pun intended, of course). Here is a quick sneak peek of Big Red offers coming from a leaked copy of Verizon’s online Black Friday circular. The deals may not sweep you off your feet, however, there are still a number of fairly generous discounts to consider if you are in the market for a new smartphone or tablet running on the largest 4G LTE network.
Exactly as announced earlier this week, the first Verizon-branded tablet, the Ellipsis 7, is now available for purchase from Verizon online store and select retail locations. If you are interested in the tablet, you will not have to dig deep into your pockets, since it is a pretty affordable offering. The slate costs $149.99. However, Verizon will ask you to sign a two-year contract if you want to buy the Ellipsis 7 for subsidized price. If you are not into long-term agreements, you can grab the tablet outright for $249.99.
Just a few days after it appeared in rumors, Verizon’s first tablet called Ellipsis 7 is official and awaiting the launch. Earlier today, the carrier announced the tablet and revealed the release date and pricing. If you are interested in the slate, you will be able to grab one starting on November 7th for $249.99. You will be able to get the tablet cheaper if you sign a new contract. For two years of your loyalty, the carrier will be willing to sell the Ellipsis 7 for $149.99. However, Verizon highlights that it will be a limited time promotion.
It looks like Verizon is gearing up for releasing of a new own-branded Android tablet called Ellipsis 7. That is, as long as the latest leaks are true. Since the image comes from @evleaks, we are inclined to believe that indeed they are. Anyway, the Ellipsis 7 is allegedly the first member of a new brand of budget-friendly devices. The carrier remains silent about the slate, but the existence of the trademark filings at the US Patent and Trademark Office has been officially confirmed.
