However, HTC have already prepared another one for all those who didn’t managed to take advantage of the previous discount. The new deal is available through October 16th and is of BOGO type. It’s Tuesday which means that it’s time for a new HTC Hot Deal. Today, instead of dropping the price of one of its phones, the manufacturer bundles the HTC One M9 with a freebie. What you will get if you buy the HTC One M9 by the end of the day is actually a free HTC Desire 626 or 626s. Isn’t it cool?
It seems that recently smartphone makers have been focusing on the lower end sector of the market. It may have something to do with carriers moving away from contracts, holiday season coming up or it may be a pure coincidence, but the fact remains that lately a significant number of affordable Android smartphones has been launched. Earlier today, three new devices made their way to the market through Sprint and landed on the carrier’s pre-paid brands Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

Four new HTC Desire phones bound for US carriers – Desire 626, Desire 626s, Desire 520 and Desire 526
For the last three years HTC has been focused mostly on the premium One series, somewhat neglecting more budget-conscious customers. The company launched a few mid-range phones; however, its contribution to the mid tier has been rather modest recently, at least compared to the most prolific manufacturers. It’s time for a change, though. HTC has just announced four new Desire phones bound for US carriers – the Desire 520, Desire 526, Desire 626 and Desire 626s.
As promised, on Tuesday HTC expanded the Desire lineup with a new device. The new member of the family is called Desire 626 and at the time of launch it was exclusive only to the manufacturer’s home market, that is Taiwan. Although it wasn’t officially confirmed, many sources suggest that the phone will be available globally sooner or later. While there is still no official word on worldwide release, it looks like the device will be on sale in the US via Sprint prepaid service.
The source of this news is @upleaks who claims that the HTC Desire 626 will arrive to Sprint as a prepaid phone. The handset could replace the Desire 510 which has been available since September.
Some time ago HTC promised to expand its Desire lineup by another budget-friendly handset. Spotted for the first time last month, today the Desire 626 has been officially announced to join the popular line. Debuting in Taiwan, the manufacturer’s home-market, the phone comes equipped with decent specs and comparatively affordable under $200 price tag, which makes it a serious rival for other lower end handsets, like for instance Motorola’s Moto G.
