Archos 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus gets official with prices starting at $109 without contract
Though CES 2015 kicks off in a two days, some of the mobile manufacturers can’t wait until the great event announcing new devices few days ahead. We’ve already told you about the Alcatel OneTouch OS agnostic series initiated by the OneTouch PIXI 3 and OneTouch Watch. Today we feel glad to report that one more manufacturer couldn’t resist and published materials concerning their new devices. We’re speaking of Archos that has just unveiled the 50 Diamond smartphone and the 80b Helium 4G tablet. Both devices are 4G-capable and belong to the budget sector offerings.
In addition to three smartphones, Archos also announced a new Android tablet, the 80 Helium 4G. Just like the phones, the tablet is a budget-friendly offering, presumably one of the cheapest among 8-inch slates. The Archos 80 Helium 4G LTE is yet another addition to the Helium lineup announced by manufacturer at Consumer Electronic Show in January. The Archos 80 Helium will hit the stores with a starting price of $249 some time later this year.
There was a time when LTE connectivity was available only in the most high-end and consequently expensive smartphones. Luckily for all of us, that time is gone and now you can enjoy data with LTE super fast speed even when you are a little less off. The team of affordable LTE-capable phones will soon have two new members made by French smartphone maker, Archos. The company has announced the Archos 45 Helium 4G and 50 Helium 4G, both featuring 4G LTE connectivity, decent specs and budget-friendly price tags of $199.99 and $249.99, respectively. In case you are wondering, these are off-contract prices. We expect to see more of the duo at CES 2014 in just a few days.
