More and more smartphone makers start offering phablets for budget-conscious customers. Such devices come with large screens paired with rather modest specs to keep the price in check. Another addition to this category is the Alcatel Pop C9. The phone, which was introduces earlier today (January 6th) at CES, is the largest in the Pop series. Alcatel did not reveal how much the device will cost; however, given the parameters, the price should not put it out of reach of an average customer. The Pop C9 will go on sale in the first quarter of 2014 in Brazil and several Asian markets.
