T-Mobile offers a free iPhone 7
Yesterday was the day millions of iPhone fans have been waiting for for a very long time – Apple finally lifted the veil off the new iPhones. The Cupertino company decided to sell the iPhones at the same prices as last year’s models which is great news. However, even though prices are unchanged, it’s still lots of money to pay. Well, iPhones are not cheap, never have been and probably never will be, which makes every promotion all the more exciting. And today we have a pretty good one for you – T-Mobile will be offering a free iPhone 7 if you trade in your iPhone 6, 6S, 6 Plus or 6S Plus.

T-Mobile announced a deal which can get you the iPhone 7 for free. There is a little catch, though.

Of course, as usual there are a number of conditions to meet if you want to take advantage of the deal. First and foremost, you have to be the owner of the device you are trading in. Obviously the phone has to be in a decent condition – it won’t qualify for the trade-in if it doesn’t power on, has suffered water damage or has a cracked screen.

Maximum trade-in value you can get is $650 which means that the only model you will be getting for free is the 32GB iPhone 7. You can naturally choose the iPhone 7 with more storage or even go for the Plus variant, but in such case you will have to “pay a little more upfront.” That “little more” is the difference between the price of the basic iPhone 7 and other models. In other words, the iPhone 7 with 128GB or 256GB of storage will set you back $100 and $200, respectively, while the iPhone 7 Plus with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB of memory will cost you $120, $220 and $320, respectively.

Another thing to remember is that you won’t get the trade-in value in cash – it will be applied to your monthly bill over 24 months which means that you will have to sign a 24-month no-cost finance agreement. After this time, the iPhone 7 will be yours. Keep in mind, though, that you don’t have to stick with T-Mobile for two years. If for some reason you decide you’ve had enough you can do one of two things – pay the remaining balance and keep the iPhone or return the phone.

T-Mobile will open pre-orders tomorrow, September 9 at 12:01am PT. T-Mobile’s offer may not be the deal of a century but if you think it’s time to replace your current iPhone with the latest model and you want to do so for free or with a massive discount, the promotion may be worth looking into.
