Determined to keep its status of a budget-friendly carrier, T-Mobile has added three affordable smartphones to its roster. Two of the offerings are from Alcatel, while the third one is made by Samsung. The Alcatel One Touch Evolve is up for grabs starting today for $99.99 or $27.99 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $3. The Alcatel One Touch Fierce will go for sale on October 23rd and will cost $19.99 down plus 24 monthly installments of $6. The Samsung Galaxy Light will arrive in T-Mobile stores in the “coming weeks”.
New Phones on T-Mobile Network
The Alcatel One Touch Evolve for T-Mobile features a 4-inch qHD display and is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek processor with 512 MB of RAM. In addition to 4 GB of internal memory, the phone has a microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards that will come in handy should you run out of room for your content. The device is also equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The One Touch Fierce is for more demanding users, offering a 4.5-inch display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1 GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and comes with 4 GB of internal memory and 1,800 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Light key features include 4-inch WVGA display protected by Gorilla Glass, a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD slot. In addition, the phone offers dual cameras, NFC, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, Wi-Fi and LTE support.
Along with the new smartphones, T-Mobile added an LTE Mobile HotSpot device from Samsung to its offer. The Samsung LTE Mobile HotSpot Pro can be bought for $49.99 down with 24 payments of $5 starting today.
