At the company’s Un-carrier 9.0 event in New York, T-Mobile announced few new promo offers targeting at both, businesses and individual subscribers. The new business plan delivers a package of unlimited talks, text and 1GB of LTE data starting at just $16 per line. Additionally, within its new ‘Carrier Freedom’ service, T-Mobile will also buy you out if you want to switch from your existing carrier, paying up to $650 of early termination costs. T-Mobile Uncarrier Plans for businesses and individuals
Starting from the new business plan initiatives, focusing mostly on mid- and small-size businesses that represent more than 99 percent of all businesses in the U.S., the Magenta carrier now offers unlimited talks, text and 1GB of 4G LTE data up to ten lines for $160. Furthermore, companies employing more than 20 people will pay only $15 per line, which translates to 100 lines for $1,500. Plus, the carrier is also decreasing the per-line cost for business subscribers with 1,000 or more lines.
Apart from the mentioned 1GB of data, all packages include pooled or per line data additions that cost $4.70 per gigabyte for 100GB minimum, $4.50 for one gigabyte for 500GB minimum or $4.25 per terabyte minimum. What’s even more interesting, the carrier will also offer a free website hosting and free Microsoft Office 365 business mail to its small business subscribers.
Moreover, T-Mobile is also kicking off with ‘Business Family Discounts’ promo which provides special discounts to families who are simultaneously a business subscribers. This means that if your company and your family are both T-Mobile’s customers, the carrier will now treat your business line as the first line in your family plan. T-Mobile claims that in some cases this promo deal should guarantee its subscribers up 50 percent savings compared to Verizon and AT&T.
Moving on to individual customers, they may now sign for the ‘Un-contract’ promo within which their Simple Choice plan will stay at the same price level for two years. Just to disperse your doubts, while signing up for the service, you don’t enter the traditional two-year contract commitment and you don’t have to stuck with the carrier. The ‘Un-contract’ contract just give you the guaranty that the carrier won’t increase your monthly rates for full two years. The Un-contract promo will be available for all Simple Choice subscribers starting from March 22nd.
And the last but definitely not least, ‘Carrier Freedom’ is the carrier’s third big announcement. It targets at subscribers who had two-year contract with AT&T’s Next program or Verizon’s Edge plan. Within the ‘Carrier Freedom’ program, if your decide to move to T-Mobile, the carrier will cover your early termination fee and remaining balance on the phone, paying up to $650 per each line on up to 10 lines.
Business customers can also benefit from ‘Carrier Freedom’ providing that they have more than 10 lines. Then, the carrier will grant such subscribers with special bill credits up to $100 per line after the tenth line. As you’ve probably already noticed, the discussed T-Mobile promo strongly resembles the one recently introduced by Sprint that also promises to pay off all your early termination commitments.
If you’re unhappy with your current service provider and want to leave it in favor of T-Mobile, this may be the best time to make the switch, since the carrier’s service terms and conditions have never been more tempting.
