If there is one thing we love about third-party retailers is that they are usually much quicker in discounting recently released phones than carriers’ stores. The unquestionable leader is Amazon, but Best Buy is not far behind. Right now, both retailers are offering some pretty sweet deals on the all new HTC One M8. Shopping for the phone at Amazon online store will let you save $100 as long as you are willing to buy HTC One M8 on Sprint network. Best Buy, on the other hand, is selling the Verizon HTC One M8 with $50 discount.
Deals on Sprint and Verizon HTC One M8
The deal on HTC One M8 via Amazon is aimed at Sprint customers only. The retailer has slashed $50 off the regular price of $199.99 and is offering the One M8 for $149.99 with a two-year contract. The price remains the same whether you are a new or existing customer.
Users who add a new line of service will receive a nice bonus in the form of a $50 Amazon gift card which can be used towards reducing the price of anything you wish to purchase from Amazon. There is no way of telling when the deal expires so if the One M8 caught your eye you probably shouldn’t wait too long to hit the “add to cart” button.
If for some reason you prefer to buy your mobile electronics somewhere else than Amazon, Best Buy has a very similar deal, except for the gift card part. The retailer is currently selling the Verizon HTC One M8 for $149.99, or $50 down from the regular price. AT&T and Verizon versions are also expected to be added to the promotion soon.
If cutting-edge technology is not exactly your thing and you would be perfectly happy to own an older yet still very attractive model of HTC’s flagship phone, Best Buy has a deal for you too. Today (April 5th) you can grab last year’s HTC One M7 for just $1 with a new two-year contract with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon. All four colors, black, silver, red, and blue, are included in the deal.
