Sprint and US Cellular join the fun and launches Moto X phone with discount prices for new subscribers
The Moto X continues its rollout through the US carriers. The phone has been available from AT&T and Verizon for over two weeks and now it is time for Sprint and US Cellular to join in the fun. Regular price at Sprint is set at the same level as AT&T and Verizon, that is $199.99 with a two-year contract. However, if you fulfill certain conditions, you will be able to get the phone at a much lower price. All you have to do is port your number from another carrier and Sprint will cut $100 of Moto X’s price, offering you the device for $99.99.
Moto X Phone with discount prices
Since today, the Moto X is available for purchase also from US Cellular. Actually, the handset has been on sale through the carrier’s website since September 4th, but today it can be purchased in brick and mortar stores as well. As expected, the price is not different than what other carriers are asking for the Moto X, which is $199.99 on contract.
Just like Sprint, US Cellular is also offering a discount for new customers as well as those adding a new line. The rebate is $75 with the final price going down to $124.99. As another bonus, the carrier is also throwing in a free Motorola Boom Bluetooth headset valued at $59.99. This deal is however available only with online purchases.
With the exception of AT&T, all carriers are selling only black and white models of the phone. The customization feature, which allows you to pick the color of the back panel, a separate color for rims, as well as personal engraving and wallpaper, is for the time being exclusive to AT&T. Rumors has it, that it will be available on other carriers come November.
