Probably the most desired member of the quartet will be the Nexus 5. The phone costs $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract, obviously. You can take away another $100 if you are porting a number from a different carrier, going down to $49.99. The second high-end offering from LG, the G2, costs $199.99 on contract. However, the same $100 rebate for porting a number stays in effect, giving you the final price of $99.99.
The Galaxy S4 Mini can be yours for free for new customers thanks to a $50 mail-in rebate and a $100 rebate for porting a number. As for the Galaxy Mega 6.3, the handset will set you back $99.99 if you take advantage of a $100 rebate for porting a number. Both Samsung phones require a new contract of course.
The LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3 will soon receive an update which will allow them to run on Sprint’s newly launched Spark tri-band network. Spark combines three bands of 4G LTE wireless spectrum, that is 800 MHz, 1.9 GHz and 2.5 GHz band, in this way improving the performance of video and other bandwidth-intensive applications. Sprint Spark is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa and Miami.
