AT&T was the first US carrier to open pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5, but of course it won’t be the only service provider offering Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone. In fact, other carriers are not far behind. Sprint and US Cellular also have announced that the phone is up for pre-orders now. If you would rather go for contract free service, then T-Mobile has good news for you too. The Magenta network will start accepting pre-orders this Monday, March 24th.
Deals on Samsung Galaxy S5 for Sprint, US Cellular & T-Mobile
US Cellular is offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract which is the same price point as AT&T. The carrier is also throwing in a little something to make the deal sweeter. Customer who pre-order the phone online will receive a $50 Google Play promo card to use for whatever purchase they wish.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S5 for Sprint as priced exactly the same, that is $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract. Off-contract price is set at $649. Another option for Sprint customers is to grab the phone for $0 down with 24 monthly installments of $27.09 each when it’s purchased as a part of Family plan. The catch is that this form of purchase is not available online so you will have to go to a Sprint retail store and reserve the phone there. Moreover, customers who decide to get the Galaxy S5 with Framily plan will receive a free Galaxy Tab 3 tablet, which however will require a two-year activation.
Finally, T-Mobile customers will be able to grab the Galaxy S5 for $0 down followed by 24 payments of $27.50 each. Total cost adds up to $660 and this is how much the phone will set you back if you want to buy it outright. Customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S5 from T-Mobile will receive a $120 discount on the Galaxy Tab 3 tablet. If you want to switch carriers, T-Mobile will also pay for you early termination fees.
T-Mobile Poland also began taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 today. It’s a long trip across the pond, but if you happen to be there in the next few days, you might want to know that the carrier will bundle the smartphone with the Galaxy Fit smartband. And yes, the smartband is free.
