Sony Xperia ZL for AT&T passed FCC, may arrive as soon as April

This leaves little room for any doubts – the Xperia ZL is a magnificent phone. You probably wonder when it will land at the US soil. Chances are that pretty soon, since it was recently seen at the FCC. Documents reveals that the handset supports 4G LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17, along with HSPA 850/1700/1900 MHz frequencies, which could suggest that the Sony Xperia ZL is heading right to AT&T. The arrival is estimated as soon as April.

Sony Xperia ZLThe Sony Xperia ZL packs a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and is protected with durable tempered glass with scratch-resistant and anti-shatter film. Built with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 technology, the display provides super sharp images with great readability even in sunlight. The handset is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB via microSD.

The phone is equipped with a 13 megapixel main camera with Exmor RS for mobile image sensor and 16x digital zoom, and a 2 megapixel front-facing unit with 1080p video capture. The Xperia ZL comes with a 2370 mAh battery, which according to Sony, guarantees up to 13 hours talk time and up to 500 hours standby time, and thanks to Battery STAMINA Mode, you can achieve even longer battery life. The handset runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is pre-loaded with a handful of apps, including Facebook, WALKMAN, 3D games, xLOUD and more.
