The new pics of alleged Sony Xperia Z3 has leaked on Friday. So, it’s only a matter of time to see more of them going round the net. The photos show the Xperia Z3 from all possible perspectives, giving us the chance to look closely at the device. To enable us to judge the size of the Xperia Z3, the alleged source of the rumored pictures present the phone along with the Galaxy Note, resting side by side. Knowing the actual size of the Samsung’s phablet, we may be sure the leaks don’t concern the Z2 Compact, what some people have tried to tell us. Even if they have very similar specs.
Live photos leak: Sony Xperia Z3 vs. Galaxy Note – Size Comparison
Though the Sony Xperia Z3 is quite the same height as the measuring 146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65 mm Galaxy Note, it seems to have narrower body than the Samsung’s phone. As it comes to the design the new Sony’s flagship phone appears to be more streamlined, more oval in its form. The hard, blocky edges have been replaced by the curve ones, making the phone much more palm-friendly, more convenient to use than its forerunners.
The sides of the handset house a diversity of ports such as: microSUB, microSIM, microSD, 3.5 mm headphone and a magnetic connector for docking. It is also equipped with so useful dedicated camera button. Speaking of the camera, the snap presenting the back side of the Z3 leaves no shadow of a doubt, the camera uses 20.7 MP camera with Exmor RS sensor.
Discussing the more detailed spects, the Xperia Z3 will be equipped with Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chipset with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. The device will operate on Android 4.4.4 system. Furthermore, as we can assume on the basis of leaked pics, Sony is introducing changes in the design approach to front- facing speakers, making them less refined visually in comparison to the Xperia Z2 where the speakers are hard to track. What, in consequence, results in too low sound. So, there’s a hope that the Sony designers have also found a proper solution to this problem.
The Sony Xperia Z3’s debut is planned to take place at IFA in September, so we have to wait a little to check whether the rumors and leaks told us at least half of the truth. Until that time we can only speculate. Hope, Sony will surprise us with something completely new.
