Remember the Galaxy Pro tablets that Samsung unveiled in early January? The company revealed pretty much everything we needed to know about the slates, except for pricing and availability. Since now, these details are no longer a mystery too. Samsung not only let us know how much its Tab Pro tablets will cost and when you will be able to get your hands on the them, but actually started taking pre-orders through its website.
Samsung Galaxy Pro Tablets
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is set at $749.99 for the 32 GB model and goes up to $849.99 for 64 GB version. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is priced at $649.99, while the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Tab Pro 8.4 will set you back $499.99 and $399.99, respectively. The Galaxy Note Pro and the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 8.4 will start shipping on February 13th. The 12.2-inch Tab Pro will arrive in March.
As the name suggests, all Pro tablets are premium devices. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 both feature 12.2-inch Super Clear LCD displays with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 3 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear cameras, 2-megapixel front-facing cameras and powerful 9,500 mAh batteries. The Galaxy Note Pro also comes with S Pen support.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 8.4 feature 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage expandable up to 64 GB, 8-megapixel rear cameras and 2-megapixel user-facing cameras. The bigger slate sports a 10.1-inch display and an 8220 mAh battery. The 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab Pro, on the other hand, is powered by a 4800 mAh unit. Both, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and 8.4 offer 1600 x 2560 resolution which in the smaller tablet works out to an amazing pixel density of 359 ppi.
