One of the ways to keep customers’ interest in a particular phone model for a longer time is to gradually add more colors to the palette. In order to keep anticipation at high level, the process is spread over a few months. In other words, on the day of the launch a phone usually is offered in two or three hues. After some time a color or two are added, and then maybe some more, just to make sure you have enough options to choose from.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Red and White Gold
Looking at how well different color versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 were selling, it appears that the strategy is successful and Samsung is willing to try it out again with the most popular phablet on the market – the Galaxy Note 3.
The phablet is currently available in three colors: black, white and pink color options, though the last one is not easy to find. Soon customers will have two more color options to choose from. Based on the leak, the Galaxy Note 3 will arrive in early 2014 in red and white gold.
Each of the new variants may be exclusive to some carriers or retailers for limited time, but eventually both will be available globally. The first to reach the stores in the first week of January will be the red Galaxy Note 3. The white gold edition will follow in roughly two weeks after.
In terms of specs and features, neither the red nor the white gold Galaxy Note 3 are expected to bring any changes to the table. Both versions will come with 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core 2.3 GHz processors, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage. The 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front snapper will more likely remain intact too.
