The original Samsung Galaxy Grand was released last year and have already a successor in the Galaxy Grand 2. Now it appears that there will be a Lite version too. However, it is not the first time that we have heard about the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite. Previous rumors mention a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, quad-core 1.2 GHz processor of unknown make and 1 GB of RAM.
Other features allegedly include a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA shooter on the front, dual-SIM support, 8 GB of internal memory and microSD slot for storage expansion. The OS of choice could be Android Jelly Bean, either 4.2 or 4.3, depending on which source you quote.
The Galaxy Grand Lite is expected to be introduced to the world in February at MWC 2014. It is said to be released in three color options including midnight black, lime green and orange. The rumored specs place the Galaxy Grand Lite somewhere in between the Galaxy Grand and Galaxy Grand 2 and indicate that it would be a rather affordable offering.
