Buying a new phone is not always as easy as it seems, especially if you have your eyes on one of the most anticipated devices of the year. When demand is higher than supply, stock can dry up in a matter of days which usually means another few weeks of waiting. While there is no indication that something like this may happen to the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a little precaution in the form of pre-order certainly won’t hurt. Great news is that you can secure a unit for yourself today as AT&T and Verizon, are now accepting pre-orders for the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone-tablet hybrid. T-Mobile will do it on September 24, and Sprint on September 26
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – Availability and Pricing
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most awaited large-screen smartphones of 2014, so it’s no wonder that it will arrive on all four major US carriers. Starting today, you can pre-order the phablet from Verizon and AT&T. Big Red will sell the Note 4 for $299.99 with a new two-year agreement, or $699.99 without contract. You can also opt for monthly payments of $34.99 for 20 months on Verizon Edge.
AT&T on-contract pricing is the same as Verizon’s, that is $299.99; however, if you want to pay full retail price at checkout, you will have to shell out $825.99. If you prefer to pay the Galaxy Note 4 off in monthly installments, it will cost you $34.42 or $40.30 due monthly for 24 (AT&T Next 18) or 20 (AT&T Next 12) months, respectively.
T-Mobile will start accepting pre-orders on the Galaxy Note 4 on Wednesday, September 24th. The Magenta network will offer the phablet for $0 down and $31.24 per month for 24 months. That would be $749 if you want to buy the phone outright.
The last one to join in the fun will be Sprint with pre-orders opening next Friday, September 26th. Sprint will ask $350 for the phone if you are willing to sign a new two-year contract, or $720 with no obligations. You can also go for installment plan and have the device for $0 down plus 24 monthly payments of $30 each. Sprint also launched a special pre-registration site where you can leave your e-mail address and the carrier will make sure that you are notifies immediately about any changes regarding the phone’s availability.
Whichever carrier you choose, you will have to wait until October 17th to get your hands on the Galaxy Note 4, as this is the day when the phablet will start shipping. There is a lot to wait for though, as Samsung new phablet is a real beast. It packs an ultrasharp 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution at 515 ppi and is powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU. Other key features include 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, microSD slot, 16-megapixel rar camera with OIS, 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera and 3,200 mAh battery. If those specs are not enough to get you dreaming about the Note 4, we don’t know what will.
