Pantech Vybe Messaging Phone for AT&T

Pantech VybeAlthough the Pantech Vybe for AT&T is marketed as a phone for kids and teens, it appears to be a perfect fit also for older users who want to move up to a more advanced handset from basic phone but are not quite ready for a smartphone yet. The Pantech Vybe is simple and intuitive phone, and thanks to Easy Mode with one homescreen and a simplified menu it won’t scare off even the most inexperienced users.

Advanced Mode, on the other hand, allows for customization and offers much more flexibility. The phone remembers the settings, so you can switch between the modes without worrying about losing your contacts, data or favorites.

The Pantech Vybe features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with four rows of well spaced keys. With a physical keyboard texting and messaging is faster and more accurate, especially for users who are not used to typing on virtual keyboards. Moreover, the phone has shortcuts to the most popular social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, so you can effortlessly update your status on the go.

The Vybe sports a 3.2-inch 240 x 400 touch screen display, 230 MHz processor, storage expandable up to 32 GB, a 3-megapixel camcorder with 8x digital zoom and dedicated camera button, as well as a 1,230 mAh battery good for up to 3 hours of talk time or up to 10 days of standby time.

The phone runs on a proprietary, Java-based operating system and includes shortcuts to a number of AT&T services, such as Drive Mode, Navigator, Address Book, Family Map, and myAT&T. Other features include Bluetooth, video and music player, and Say-A-Command button. The dimensions of the device are 4.49 x 2.32 x 0.51 inches and it weighs 4.94 ounces.
