Almost every smartphone maker has one or two phablets in its offer and Pantech is no different. Last month the company launched the Pantech Vega No 6 in South Korea and now the device is also available in Hong Kong. The handset is priced at 6,000 HKD which is around $774 and if it is ever going to arrive at other markets the price is speculated to be at the same level.
Pantech Vega No. 6 with 5.9-inch Full HD screen
As it befits a phablet, the Pantech Vega No 6 comes with a huge 5.9-inch Natural IPS Pro Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels. Inside the handset you will find a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and a generous 32 GB of internal memory. There is also a microSDXC slot compatible with up to 2 TB cards. Pretty impressive, don’t you think?
The phone is equipped with two cameras. It has a 13 megapixel main unit that is capable of recording HD videos at 30 frames per second and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. The device offers LTE connectivity and a massive 3,150 mAh battery. The Vega No 6 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is available in black and white. The handset also packs an innovative feature known as V Touch technology, which basically means that you can use a touchpad on the rear of the device to operate the phone with one hand without blocking parts of the screen.
