It’s official. The Oppo Find 7 is a real deal and is coming soon. Not that there were many doubts about that, but an official confirmation from the maker itself is always welcome. Oppo posted a teaser image on its Facebook page on the day of the Find 5 first birthday along with a comment that it was just a beginning, clearly suggesting that the company has big plans for the future. Another teaser appeared on Oppo’s Weibo page hinting at imminent release. How imminent? It’s hard to tell, since no other details were revealed, but the beginning of 2014 sounds pretty reasonable.
New Oppo Find Smartphones in the works
The Oppo Find 7 highlight is said to be its 5.7-inch display with a stunning 2K 2560 x 1440 resolution. According to the latest rumors, the phone should pack a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front. Some sources also mention about a massive 4,000 mAh battery. The Find 7 will be Oppo’s first 4G LTE phone. Pricing is still unknown but given the specs, we wouldn’t expect the Find 7 to be cheap.
In the meantime, another report suggests that a mini version of the Find 5 might be in the works. The news comes via Facebook page allegedly created by Oppo’s arm in Vietnam. According to the rumors, the Find 5 Mini could look like its big brother but with more modest internals. Expected features of the phone include a 4.7-inch 540 x 960 display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, as well as 2-megapixel front camera.
