For about a month now we have been hearing rumors about a new Nokia Lumia supposedly headed to Verizon Wireless. Up until now it was just pure speculation, but it looks like there actually might be some truth in it. A screen shot purportedly from Verizon’s internal system is showing a line-item of Nokia devices has been posted by a tipster and what can we seen in the last position? Yes, it is the Nokia Lumia 928.
Nokia Lumia 928 4G LTE for Verizon Wireless
Assuming that the image is legit, the handset was entered in the system in mid January, around the time the first rumors about a new Lumia started circulating. It also fits well with a Nokia device, model number RM-860 that made appearance at the FCC not so long ago. There is not much to go on in terms of technical details but for sure it will be a 4G LTE featured smartphone.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is said to be a Verizon version of the Lumia 920 4G LTE that AT&T has been sporting since the debut of Windows Phone 8. Just like the AT&T model, the Lumia 928 will feature a 1280 x 768 display and will come wearing the same polycarbonate case in various colors, but it is speculated that it will look differently than the 920. Microsoft will most likely implement the Nokia Lumia 928 in various product placements, so look out for a brand new Nokia in your favorite TV shows.
